The process from A to Z
In order to get your goods quickly and safely to Australia or New Zealand, the treatment provider will help you with the process from beginning to end. The total process takes five working days on average. From delivery at treatment location to arrival at the export quay.
Step: 02
Select a treatment provider
You will first need to find a treatment provider in your area or near your port of discharge
Step: 03
Book your order
Inform your provider with the following details:
-
Preferred treatment method
-
Type of cargo (containers, on wheels (ro-ro), static cargo or breakbulk)
-
Destination (Australia or New Zeeland)
-
Port of discharge
-
Shipping info
Step: 04
Treatment by a registered treatment provider
When your order is confirmed, your goods will be treated against BMSB. The provider will keep you updated in every step of the process. How long the treatment takes depends on the provider and your mutual agreements.
Step: 05
Certification process by treatment provider
The treatment provider registers all the necessary information in the online portal of the Australian and New Zeeland government. You, as a customer, will receive the certificate.
Step: 06
Voyage to country of destination
After treatment, the cargo is ready to continue its voyage to Australia or New Zealand.
Step: 07
Arrival in country of destination
Upon arrival, the goods may have to undergo an inspection by the local authorities.
Step: 08
Delivery to customer
The goods are delivered to yet another happy customer.
